Coming Home

Women’s Retreat • Whitsundays
15–18 May 2026 · Yangaro Resort

What this really is.

Not a “detox”. Not a content farm.
This is four days designed for women in midlife who’ve been carrying a lot — careers, families, invisible labour, the whole load — and are ready to put it down for a minute and remember themselves.

I built Coming Home for women like me: capable, generous, a bit tired of being “on”. This is where depth beats busy. Rest counts as work. Nothing is compulsory. Everything is an invitation. I’ll hold the edges so you can soften in the middle.

I don’t run retreats on a fixed schedule or as a standing annual offering. Each one is held when the timing feels right — for me and for the group — and when I have the space to hold it with care.

Midlife isn’t a crisis — it’s a homecoming.
Leave the noise; bring your actual self.

Late availability.

One garden-view room remains for Coming Home (15–18 May 2026).

It can be configured as a private king or twin-share and sits in the elevated Topaz villa — quiet, light-filled, and deeply restorative.

If you’ve been quietly considering the retreat and the timing now feels right, this may be worth exploring.

This is a small, boutique gathering and rooms are confirmed on a first-come basis.

What to expect.

  • Yoga that meets you — morning and early evening sessions with me (slow strength to gently dynamic, injury-aware and thoughtfully layered).

  • Nervous-system kindness — thermal therapies (steam/sauna/plunge), spacious downtime, quiet pockets built in.

  • Food that loves you back — wholefood, beautiful, satisfying (prepared by Asja).

  • Creative play — a hands-on clay workshop (kiln secured locally).

  • Sleep — actual, unbothered, delicious sleep.

  • Zero pressure — you can join everything or choose the nap. Both are valid.

You don’t have to do anything here. You just have to show up.

Sunday — Play & Integrate
Morning practice, rest, then Asja’s clay workshop. Sunset yoga + sound bath to let it all land.

Monday — Soft Goodbyes
Breakfast, closing circle, farewells 9–11am.

(Everything optional. Always.)

What’s not included: travel to/from Yangaro, extra spa services, personal shopping, alcohol.

Meet Asja.

Asja is our food whisperer and my favourite kind of human: warm, skilled, and quietly excellent. She creates belonging with bowls and mugs — think deeply comforting meals, cacao-rich hot chocolates, and spiced chais that feel like a hug. She’s also leading our clay workshop this year (we’ve secured a local kiln), so you’ll take home something made by your own hands.

What past guests are saying.

(Spoiler: it’s not just the yoga they remember)

“Every single detail was beyond perfection. And to be amongst women who love, accept, and allow space without judgment — what a gift.”

Andi

“This was exactly what I needed — to heal, to relax, and to just be with me. Thank you for thinking of me.”

Hayley

"I know this will be epic. I was genuinely devastated when I couldn’t make the last retreat—there’s no way I’m missing this one!"

— Jill

Is this for me?

You’ll love this if you want:

  • Small, thoughtful, women-centred space (not a 60-person spectacle).

  • Real rest with intelligent movement — no performance, no pressure.

  • Good food, good sleep, ocean air, and conversations that feel like relief.

  • To be held by an experienced teacher who values evidence and consent.

It’s not a match if you want: strict meal control, back-to-back bootcamps, social media “moments,” or late-night parties.
