The Long Exhale
Women’s Retreat • Whitsundays
14–17 May 2027 · Yangaro Resort
Created for women in midlife.
Who are carrying a lot and are ready, even briefly, to put some of it down.
This retreat isn't about reinventing yourself or becoming a "better" version of who you are. It's about stepping away from the noise for a few days and remembering what you feel like when you're rested, well fed, gently moved, and surrounded by good people.
Nothing to prove. Nothing to perform.
Just a few days to exhale.
A gentle rhythm
Slow mornings. Long lunches. Nothing rushed.
Each day unfolds with plenty of structure to feel supported, and plenty of space to simply follow your own rhythm.
We'll move together each morning, gather around beautiful meals, create with our hands, wander to the beach, spend afternoons by the pool, and leave room for the moments that can't be scheduled — the conversations, laughter and quiet pauses that somehow become the parts everyone remembers.
Some women curl up with a book.
Others head for the spa.
Some take a nap.
Others sit with a cup of tea watching the light change over the bay.
There's no pressure to do everything.
The timetable is gentle.
The pace is slower than real life.
That's the point.
What you'll take home
You won't leave with a perfectly folded life.
You'll probably leave with sandy shoes.
The phone numbers of women you didn't know a few days earlier.
Thoughts you finally had time to hear.
A reminder that rest isn't something you have to earn.
And, if we've done our job well...
A quieter nervous system than the one you arrived with.
A gentle shape to the weekend.
Friday — Arrive and exhale.
From 3pm, you'll arrive, settle into your villa, wander the grounds, meet the other women, and ease into the weekend over canapés, dinner and our opening circle.
Saturday — Space to soften.
Morning yoga. Beautiful meals. Long pockets of unhurried time. A private thermal session, a sunset practice, and an evening that can be as social—or as quiet—as you need it to be.
Sunday — Create, rest and simply enjoy.
Another gentle morning together, our relaxed creative workshop, delicious food, plenty of time to do very little, and one final evening to soak it all in.
Monday — Slow goodbyes.
Breakfast, a closing circle, plenty of hugs, and farewells between 9 and 11am.
Everything is always optional.
There is nowhere you need to be, except exactly where you are.
Everything you need is included.
From the moment you arrive on Friday afternoon until we say goodbye on Monday morning, almost everything has already been taken care of. Your accommodation, meals, movement, creative experiences and plenty of space to simply rest are all included, so all you really need to do is arrive.

Held by a small, thoughtful team
The Long Exhale is brought to life by four women, each contributing something different to the weekend.
Sadie gently guides the yoga and creates the rhythm of the weekend, helping everyone settle, slow down and feel at home.
Asja brings extraordinary meals to the table and guides our creative workshop, creating moments that guests often remember long after the weekend has ended.
Nicole quietly documents the retreat as it unfolds, capturing beautiful moments you'll treasure without ever interrupting them.
Eden is our calm, capable extra pair of hands, making sure the little details are taken care of, often before anyone even notices they're needed.
Together, we create the kind of retreat we'd want to attend ourselves—warm, welcoming, beautifully organised and never overcomplicated.
Accommodation
A place to completely exhale
Before the yoga begins, before conversations unfold and before the weekend finds its rhythm, this place quietly works its magic.
Set between rainforest, mountains and the Coral Sea, these architecturally designed beachfront villas invite you to exhale from the moment you arrive.
Everything feels considered. The light. The views. The quiet. It's the kind of place that gently reminds you there's nowhere else you need to be.
Where time slows
There's something about this place that's difficult to explain until you're here.
Time stretches in the nicest possible way. You stop checking the clock. Meals become occasions. An afternoon somehow feels wonderfully long.
Whether you're floating in the pool, wandering down to the beach, reading on the deck or simply watching the changing light across Funnel Bay, there's an ease to the days that's hard to recreate once you leave.
By the end of the weekend, you'll wonder why life can't always move this slowly.
Your home for the weekend
Across the resort we'll have exclusive use of three spacious beachfront villas, giving us plenty of room to gather, move, eat and relax together while still enjoying moments of quiet privacy.
Each bedroom has its own ensuite, generous living spaces are shared with just a handful of other women, and every villa opens onto its own pool, outdoor entertaining area and beautiful Whitsundays views.
It's boutique rather than busy, which means the whole retreat feels calm, spacious and wonderfully personal.

From the women who’ve been there
Every retreat unfolds a little differently, but what stays with me every time is the kindness, openness and genuine care the women bring to one another.
“Every single detail was beyond perfection. And to be amongst women who love, accept, and allow space without judgment — what a gift.”
Andi
“This was exactly what I needed, to heal, to relax, and to just be with me. Thank you for thinking of me.”
Hayley
“The food, the setting, and the women… it was all so special. Such a beautifully held weekend.”
Jill
Booking your place
If this retreat feels like something you're being drawn towards, securing your place is simple.
A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your room.
From there, you can either pay your remaining balance in full or choose a payment plan that suits you.
Pay in full
Pay the remaining balance when you book.
Three monthly instalments
After your deposit, the balance is divided into three monthly payments.
Six monthly instalments
After your deposit, the balance is divided into six monthly payments.
Payment plans are available for a limited time, depending on when you book. Earlier bookings usually allow more flexibility and first choice of rooms.
All retreat balances must be paid in full by 1 March 2027.
Once your deposit has been received, I'll personally confirm your payment schedule so everything is clear and easy.
Retreats are always offered to my email community first before they're shared publicly.
Before you book
Do I have to do every session?
No. Nothing is compulsory. You're welcome to join every session, or to opt in and out as your body and mind need over the weekend.
What level of yoga is this?
The yoga is accessible and thoughtfully taught. I'll offer options, props and a layered approach throughout the weekend. If you're working with injuries, pain or fatigue, let me know beforehand and we'll plan accordingly.
Do you cater for dietary needs?
Yes. Meals are nourishing, satisfying and mostly vegetarian, with plenty of variety. Common dietary requirements can absolutely be accommodated with advance notice.
What if payments feel stressful?
That's exactly why I offer payment plans. If the retreat feels right but you'd prefer to spread the cost over time, just get in touch and we'll find a payment schedule that feels manageable.
Is alcohol included?
No. This is a nervous-system-first retreat, and alcohol isn't part of the weekend. If you choose to enjoy a quiet drink privately, you're welcome to do so mindfully and respectfully.
How do I get there?
Once you book, I'll send through a simple travel guide with directions, arrival information and a few helpful suggestions to make getting there easy.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Your $500 deposit secures your place and is non-refundable. Payments made after that become non-refundable from 1 January 2027, unless your place can be filled. If I'm able to fill your room, I'll refund what I can, less the deposit. If you'd like to transfer your booking to someone else, just get in touch and I'll do everything I can to help.
Perhaps this is your year.
If you've been quietly thinking, "I need this"... trust that feeling.
