Frequently Asked Questions

Here’s everything you might want to know — from what to bring, to how to reschedule. Still unsure? Reach out any time.

How does the 6-week module format work?

SWY runs in 6-week modules—short, focused cycles designed to build strength, confidence, and rhythm week by week, with space to pause, reset, and integrate.

In 2025, we’re running four 6-week modules, beginning with Rebuild & Rise on 28 April.
From 2026 onward, you can expect six modules per year, each with a two-week break in between.

We recommend joining at the start of a module to get the full experience — and to move through the arc of the journey together.

What class options do you offer?

We run four evening classes each week:

  • Grounded (Mon & Wed): Slow, steady, and strong. A restorative-leaning class with an emphasis on nervous system support.

  • Rising (Tues & Thurs): Dynamic, strength-based flow. Great for building confidence and coordination.

You’re welcome to join one or both class styles depending on your membership. They’re designed to complement each other beautifully.

What membership options are available?

We keep it simple and supportive:

  • Gold: Unlimited access (up to 4 classes/week)

  • Silver: 2x classes per week

  • Bronze: 1x class per week

Each membership runs for 6 weeks and includes priority booking, flexibility to reschedule within your block, and access to member-only extras.

Can I join mid-module?

Our modules are designed to be experienced from start to finish — that’s where the magic really happens.

Once a module begins, registration closes so we can honour the flow and commitment of the group.

But don’t worry — our next round, Unshakable Ground, begins 30 June and bookings open 17 June.

Join the waitlist to be first in line.

Why don’t you offer casual classes?

Our classes are small, consistent, and intentionally designed for progression.

Most spots are booked well in advance by our members, and any occasional openings are kept within the community.

This keeps the energy strong and the experience deeply supportive — for you, and everyone on the mat.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. Grounded is beginner-friendly and will support you to build confidence over time. As long as you’re comfortable moving from floor to standing unassisted, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

What if I miss a class?

You can reschedule within your 6-week module (pending availability). Just cancel with at least 12 hours’ notice to avoid forfeiting your session.

This keeps things fair for all members, and helps waitlisted students attend.

Can I switch to a different class if my plans change?

Yes — as long as it’s within your current 6-week module and space is available.

Just cancel your original session and rebook the one you’d like, using your same membership code.
Need help? I’ve got you.

Where is the studio, and is there parking?

We’re located at 23 Mowlam Street, Eimeo.
Please park in either driveway, on the verge (off the tarmac), or further up the road. Just be mindful of neighbours and others arriving.

What should I bring to class?

Not much — just yourself.

  • Wear something you can move comfortably in

  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in

  • Stay hydrated (we provide lemon water if you forget)

  • All mats and props are provided — but you’re welcome to bring your own

Classes are capped at 10 and held in a purpose-built studio designed for calm, clarity, and care — complete with handcrafted props and our signature hot towel ritual.

What if I’m running late?

Classes begin and end on time. The door is locked once we start — part of holding a focused, immersive space for everyone (including you).

If you're running late, please cancel your booking and reschedule within your module if possible. Forfeits apply for no-shows or late cancellations.

This isn’t about being strict — it’s about preserving the rhythm, respect, and experience we all share.

What if I have an injury or limitation?

Your safety matters. I’ll always offer options during class, but please consult your GP or physio if you’re working with something new or acute.

You’re encouraged to move at your own pace — and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
