Frequently Asked Questions
Here’s everything you might want to know — from what to bring, to how rescheduling works. Still unsure (or wondering why you can’t find me on socials)? It’s all below — and if not, reach out any time.
How does the 6-week module format work?
SWY runs in 6-week modules — short, focused cycles designed to build strength, confidence, and rhythm week by week, with space to pause and reset in between.
In 2025 we’re running four seasonal modules. From 2026 onward, expect six per year.
Best experience: join at the start to move through the full arc with a consistent group.

What class options do you offer?
We run four evening classes each week (6:30–7:30 pm):
Grounded (Mon & Wed): Slow, steady, strong — restorative-leaning with nervous system support.
Rising (Tue & Thu): Dynamic, strength-based flow — great for confidence and coordination.
Choose one or both styles depending on your membership; they complement each other beautifully
What membership options are available?
Three tiers, each for a 6-week module:
Gold: up to 4 classes/week (priority booking)
Silver: 2 classes/week (priority booking)
Bronze: 1 class/week (priority booking)

Can I join mid-module?
Modules are designed to be experienced start to finish — that’s where the magic really lands.
Once a module begins (or sells out), registrations close so we can honour the flow of the group.
Current status: Waking Strength (1 Sep–9 Oct) is in session.
Next: Steady Upside (27 Oct–4 Dec) — early access is open now.

Why don’t you offer casual classes?
Small, consistent groups help you actually progress — and keep the room calm and focused. Most spots are booked well in advance by members; any occasional openings are offered within the community.
Why can’t I find you on social media?
I’m there occasionally, but I’m stepping back from the hamster wheel. Most updates now go to my email list and the website.

Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. Grounded is beginner-friendly, with options to build confidence over time. If you can move from floor to standing unassisted, you’ll be supported every step.
What if I miss a class?
You can reschedule within your 6-week block (space permitting). Please cancel with 12+ hours’ notice to avoid forfeiting the session. Unused sessions don’t carry over into future modules.
Can I switch to a different class if my plans change?
Yes — with 12+ hours’ notice, within your current module, and if there’s space. Cancel, then rebook with your code.
Where is the studio, and is there parking?
23 Mowlam Street, Eimeo (Mackay).
Park in either driveway, on the verge (off the tarmac), or further up the road. Please be mindful of neighbours and others arriving.
What should I bring to class?
Just yourself and comfy clothes.
Arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in.
We provide mats, props, and lemon water (bring your own if you prefer).
Classes are capped at 10 in a purpose-built studio — expect calm, clarity, care, and a hot towel to finish.
What if I’m running late?
Classes begin and end on time; the door is locked once we start to preserve focus for everyone. If you’re running late, please cancel and reschedule within your module if possible. No-shows and late cancellations are forfeited.
What if I have an injury or limitation?
Your safety matters. I’ll offer options during class, but please consult your GP/physio if you’re working with something new or acute. Move at your pace — I’m here to help.
